Torches are type of blocks, that emit light, and can be attached to any side of suitable blocks except the bottom side. It is very easy to obtain Torches in the World. The players just need one stick and one coal to make four Torches on the Workbench or on the Inventory. It can be brocken with any tool.
When Torches are placed in water, it will be detached, as if you had destroyed it. The block it was placed in will have no water in it afterwards, unless two adjacent water sources cause a third to be created. This can also be used to regain air while underwater.
In general, Torches can only be placed on solid, opaque, full blocks; exceptions are Glass,and Leaves.
